COMING NEXT: HALF A TEASPOON
Cameron's newest client, Alex 'Wide Load' Widenhouse, ushers in a new load of trouble when he's arrested for murder-by-axe. Cameron enlists the aid of law partners Ken Benton and Ben Gravely to prepare Alex's defense. Their research uncovers a poisonous plot with wide consequences.
I've finished the first draft, and gone through my first revision edit. I'll go through more revisions before sending it to my editor, and then incorporate her findings into the final draft. Then, it's off to the publisher. I'll post updates as I go.
I've already created a preliminary front cover for Half a Teaspoon:
NOW AVAILABLE!
THREE-QUARTER TIME, the seventh book, is done! I'm excited to announce an August, 2024 release time.
Cameron finds an odd note clipped to a fiddle-leaf fig plant on his office porch. It starts, "Dear Mr. Scott--I think somebody's trying to kill our tuba player..." The note's plea for help launches Cameron, and law associate Ken Benton, into another bizarre challenge. The quest to figure out what's happening, or even whether there's a real threat to someone or something, brings them from the sights and sounds of a local Oktoberfest through the backstage trappings of a sizeable local theater. Is this a minor case, causing them to fall flat on their faces, or have they been sharp enough to recognize a major threat? Join them in Three-Quarter Time and find out.

NOW AVAILABLE: the script for RADIO PLAY, a comedy in two acts
RADIO PLAY dissolves the legendary 'fourth wall' by making the audience part of the story. The announcer for 'Blushing Bride,' a radio soap opera, secretly replaces the day's script with one he's written. Hilarity ensues when cast and crew try to navigate their way through the new script, and through their own relationships.
